WAVENGTH-DIVISION-MULTIPLEXNG PASSIVE OPTICAL ACCESS NETWORKS

PURPOSE: A wavelength tunable light receiver of a wavelength division multiplex passive optical subscriber network is provided to use an optical power distributor in a WDM-PON network structure, thereby developing a WDM-PONWDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing-Passive Optical Network) with changing the structure of an existing TDM-PON(Time Division Multiplexing-Passive Optical Network). CONSTITUTION: I/O(Input/Output) optical signals of a WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) light transceiver(102) are connected to one optical fiber by a wavelength combining/splitting filter(104) in an OLT(Optical Line Terminal)(100) with the WDM light transceiver and the wavelength combining/splitting filter. The wavelength combining/splitting filter is connected to a subscriber terminal(200) through an optical power distributor(105). The subscriber terminal uses a wavelength tunable light receiver. The subscriber terminal uses a wavelength tunable light source.
