The cassette (24) has a stack of deionization fins (25) inserted in a casing (60). The casing includes two side walls (24A), a front wall (24B) arranged vis-a-vis the volume of contact opening, a bottom wall (24C) near a fixed contact, and an upper wall. The front wall includes an elongated opening for allowing a contact bridge to be moved from closed position to open position, where the front wall is bordered by two flaps (61) distributed along elongated edges of the opening and extending in a direction perpendicular to the front wall so as to mask the sides of a housing. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a unipolar breaking unit (2) a switching device.
