The invention relates to a multipurpose programmable feeder employed to feed various fish species in industrial ponds, aquariums, as well as for aquaculture. According to the invention, the feeder comprises a hopper (1) of the feeding funnel type containing feeding matter (2), a connecting cover (3) fixed by some screws (4) on a segment of a fodder transfer T-piece (6), where the fodder as granules is conveyed by rotation to a helical vibrating worm (5) which pushes it into the pond, the worm (5) being driven by a D.C. motor (13) by means of a coupling (10) and a group of pinions (12) embedded in a housing (14), the whole motion being controlled by an electronic system (22) comprising the electronic control circuits, protected by a metal housing (23); by means of some buttons mounted on the cover of the electronic system (22), the working time or the idle time is programmed, depending on the fish species to be fed.
