The present invention concerns a method for shaft sinking during work in a mine with the aid of a shaft suspension framework (1) that comprises a crane arm (13) with a wire winch (24) from which a platform (33a) that can be raised and lowered is suspended. The method is characterised by the steps: a) manoeuvring the displaceable shaft suspension framework (1) to the location of the shaft (X) through driving it by the combustion engine (4), b) switching off the combustion engine (4) and connecting the shaft suspension framework (1) to an electrical grid that is available in the mine, c) loading personnel and equipment onto the working platform (33a), d) lowering the working platform (33a) down into the shaft (X), e) carrying out the work to create the shaft at or in association with the bottom of the shaft, f) raising the working platform, personnel and equipment out from the shaft, g) disconnecting the connection to the electrical grid, h) starting the combustion engine (4), i) manoeuvring the shaft suspension framework (1) away from the shaft (X), j) carrying out blasting down in the shaft (X), and k) repeating the steps a) to k) [sic, self-referential, this is step k].
