<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory control device that reduces current consumption in a self-refresh mode. <P>SOLUTION: A memory control device includes: a plurality of memories 2, 3 that store data; a memory controller 1 that inputs/outputs respective signals for controlling the memory 2, 3; and a switch 20 that connects/disconnects the respective signals. The memory controller 1, in transition to a self-refresh mode, selects the switch to separate the plurality of memories 2, 3 into the memory 2 that is supplied with power in the self-refresh mode and the memory 3 that is not supplied with power in the self-refresh mode, and then stores data, which is present on the memory 3 that is not supplied with power and needs to be retained, on the memory 2 that is supplied with power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
