PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mobile communication system, base station device, mobile station device, and communication method which realize efficient transmission control supporting an information amount of reception quality information and transmission frequency flexibly.

SOLUTION: A mobile station device transmits uplink data to a base station device by using resources of a physical uplink common channel. The mobile station device comprises: means for receiving information about setting of the resources of the physical uplink common channel from the base station device by using a radio resource control signal; means for periodically transmitting channel state information to the base station device according to the information included in the radio resource control signal.
