<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling mechanism of a battery system which allows for detection of abnormalities in the cooling performance of the battery system. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling mechanism 19 of a battery system A for cooling a battery cell 22 by distributing cooling air through a battery case of a battery module 17 housing the plurality of battery cells 22 in the battery case comprises cell temperature measuring means for measuring the temperature of the battery cell 22, cell temperature estimation means 25 for estimating temperature variation of the battery cell 22 from the current value and the voltage value of the battery cell 22, and temperature comparison means 26 for comparing the actual temperature of the battery cell 22 measured by the cell temperature measuring means with the estimation temperature of the battery cell 22 estimated by the cell temperature estimation means 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
