<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved HIV protease inhibitor that is very potent, that has minimal side-effect and is effective against resistance strains of HIV. <P>SOLUTION: A compound represented by formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or stereoisomer thereof are disclosed.
