METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CROSSTALK CANCELLATION IN A MULTI-USER ACCESS NETWORK

The invention provides a method and system, preferably an access node, for cancelling crosstalk among one or more plurality of network links. Crosstalk from a second network link, a disturber line, is according to the method (substantially) cancelled in a first network link, the victim line. Thereto a suitable signal component is provided to a third network link, the cancellation line. The signal component generally cancels the crosstalk signal from the second network link by providing a signal substantially in anti-phase. The third network link could be a spare line.
