<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nanosensor platforms and detection of a disease and condition. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the use of nanowires, nanotubes, and nanosensor platforms. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a method of constructing a nanosensor platform. In another embodiment, the present invention provides a method of analyzing multiple biomarker signals on the nanosensor platform for the detection of a disease. Various embodiments provide a nanosensor comprising a nanomaterial configured for electrical signaling, and one or more capture agents distributed on a surface of the nanomaterial. The nanosensor is configured such that binding of a target molecule to one of the one or more capture agents causes a change in electrical signaling.
