<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine in which bath water is sterilized before supplying it to a washing tub for washing laundry with clean water and in which a chlorine gas produced through electrolysis of a saline solution is safely treated. <P>SOLUTION: A washing/dewatering tub 34 rotatably provided in an outer tub 33 is rotated by a motor (driving means) 35, saline water in a prescribed concentration is supplied by saline water supplying means 48b to an electrolytic tank 43 having a pair of electrodes 43b, bath water is supplied by bath water supplying means 41 to a water storage part 42 for storing bath water, the water storage part 42 and the electrolytic tank 43 are connected to each other through a communicating part 44, a chlorine gas produced in the electrolytic tank 43 is supplied by chlorine gas supplying means 45 through the communicating part 44 to the water storage part 42, and the bath water in which the chlorine gas has been dissolved is supplied from the water storage part 42 to the outer tub 33 by sterilized water supplying means 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
