<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner suppressing isolation of inorganic fine particles from surfaces of toner particles, causing little image defects by member contamination, having excellent developability, transfer property and fixability, and excellent durability and environmental stability of these characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The toner comprises toner particles containing at least a binder resin, wax and inorganic fine particles (A), in which at least the inorganic fine particles (A) are fixed by surface treatment with hot air to the surfaces of the toner particles. The inorganic fine particles (A) have a number average particle diameter (D1) of 0.060 μm or more and 0.300 μm or less, a BET specific surface area (BET1) of 10.0 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g or more and 50.0 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g or less, with the number average particle diameter (D1) and the BET specific surface area (BET1) satisfying the relationship of formula (1):0.85≤BET1(m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g)/(6/(D1(μm)×true density(g/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>) of the inorganic fine particles (A))≤2.00. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
