<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner capable of obtaining a high quality image without image failure such as density variation, fog, and shadowing even in a high-speed development system. <P>SOLUTION: The toner comprises toner particles, each of which contains at least binder resin, a coloring agent, and a polymer having a sulfonic acid-based functional group. In a DSC curve measured by a differential scanning calorimeter, the binder resin has a peak temperature P1(°C) of a first endothermic peak in a temperature range of 55°C or more and 75°C or less, and also has a peak temperature P2(°C) of a second endothermic peak in a temperature range of 80°C or more and 120°C or less. The polymer having a sulfonic acid-based functional group is a polymer or a copolymer having a sulfonic acid group, a sulfonate group, or a sulfonic acid ester group, has a glass-transition temperature at a temperature of P3(°C), and satisfies: P1<P3<P2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
