<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device, a fixing device, and an image forming apparatus inexpensively resolving overheat and inferior fixing when a toner image is fixed to recording sheets with a plurality of sizes. <P>SOLUTION: The heating device performs induction heating to a fixing rotor 206 for fusing a toner to recording sheets with different passage widths. The heating device includes: an exciting coil 207 extended on the outer peripheral surface of the fixing rotor 206 in a rotating axis direction, generating an alternate magnetic field to cause the fixing rotor to generate Joule heat; and a pair of demagnetizing coils 215 reducing a part of magnetic flux generated by the exiting coil 207. The pair of demagnetizing coils 215 are obliquely provided so as to, when the demagnetizing coils are located at both ends of the fixing rotor 206 that are mutually different in the rotating axis direction, come close to the exiting coil 207, and as their coming closer to the central part in the rotating axis direction, separate from the exciting coil 207. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
