The present invention relates to a square tree supporter for supporting a tree. The square tree supporter of the present invention comprises: first, second, third and fourth vertical supporters (350, 360, 370, 280) arranged vertically to the ground such that a tree may be disposed within the vertical supporters; first to fourth horizontal supporters (710, 720, 730, 740) connected from the ends of the first to fourth vertical supporters and arranged in parallel to the ground; a fifth horizontal supporter (750) which is arranged vertically to the first and third horizontal supporters or to the second and fourth horizontal supporters which face with each other, and which is arranged horizontally to the ground; first to fourth corner cups (200), each of which has first and second horizontal coupling portions (210, 220) and a lower coupling portion (230), wherein the first and second horizontal coupling portions (210, 220) connect the first to fourth horizontal supporters that are adjacent to each other such that the first to fourth horizontal supporters are vertical to each other and horizontal to the ground, wherein the lower coupling portion (230) couples the first to fourth vertical supporters to the first to fourth horizontal supporters, wherein the first to fourth corner cups (200) enable the first to fourth vertical supporters and the first to fourth horizontal supporters to be coupled together at the ends of the vertical and horizontal supporters; first and second side cups (300) for coupling the fifth horizontal supporter (750) which is arranged vertically to the first and third horizontal supporters or to the second and fourth horizontal supporters which face with each other; a tree protective cap (500) attached to the fifth horizontal supporter (750) so as to fix a tree (100); and a tree-tightening band (430) for binding the tree (100) and the tree protective cap (500).
