<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily confirm an image that the user wants to select in a situation where a large amount of images need to be selected for, for example, print orders on a storefront terminal. <P>SOLUTION: In S5, information (matrix) in which faces of respective persons identified for respective images are classified is created. The matrix has additional information including a position and a size of a face area for each person. In S6, a rearrangement condition setting screen is displayed to accept the setting of rearrangement conditions for image data. In S7, images that meet the rearrangement condition are specified from the matrix by referring to the matrix to extract the specified images from a storage part 16, and images displayed on a box 90 of a list display screen are rearranged so that the extracted images are displayed at the top position in the list.
