[Problem] To provide a measurement device and a measurement method which do not decrease in the throughput even in cases where composite substances that are produced by causing samples and reagents to react with reach other in a plurality of lines are measured by a common measuring unit. [Solution] A measurement device (1) which is provided with a plurality of lines that respectively convey reaction containers containing samples and which measures a predetermined substance contained in the samples, while conveying the reaction containers by the plurality of lines. The measurement device (1) is provided, as the plurality of lines, with: a first reaction line (30) which conveys a reaction container at a first convey speed; a second reaction line (40) which conveys a reaction container at a second convey speed; and a measurement line (50), the measurement objects of which are a sample caused to react with a reagent within the reaction container in the first reaction line (30) and a sample caused to react with a reagent within the reaction container in the second reaction line (40), and which measures a predetermined substance contained in the samples, said measurement line (50) conveying the reaction containers at a third convey speed that is higher than the first convey speed and the second convey speed. |
