It is difficult to determine, when inhibiting surplus power to be generated excessively, power generation sources that are to be notified and controlled, with only position information on a map. To address this problem, surplus power information related to surplus power generated at a plurality of facilities in the past is obtained, surplus power is predicted on the basis of the obtained surplus power information, regional information about the region where surplus power is to be generated is obtained on the basis of the predicted surplus power, power apparatuses that are power consumption apparatuses or power generation apparatuses that exist within a region that corresponds to or that is near the obtained region are specified, and the time period during which surplus power is to be generated, and an amount of power not more than the amount of surplus power are notified to the specified power apparatuses or to the users of the power apparatuses. |
