The present invention provides a mobile-terminal-based information recording method and system. The method comprises: responding to a recording instruction of a user, and invoking a resource-processing module in a mobile terminal corresponding to the recording instruction to record data; determining current time information and current position information of the mobile terminal after recoding the data; and recording and storing a correspondence between a combination of the position information and the time information, and identification information of the data. According to the technical solution provided by the present invention, movement track information of the user can be recorded through the mobile terminal in real time and the user experience is effectively improved.
