<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an erroneous attachment preventing part for preventing erroneous attachment to a liquid consuming apparatus with high strength without discharging dirt. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a liquid cartridge 100 attached to a liquid consuming apparatus provided with an identification shape part determined for each type of the liquid cartridge and making the liquid cartridge to be attached selectively according to the type of liquid accommodated in the liquid cartridge is provided. The manufacturing method includes a first step of preparing a liquid cartridge 100 having an outer wall facing the identification shape part when it is attached to the liquid consuming apparatus, and a second step for forming an erroneous attachment preventing part 310 having a shape which disables the attachment of the liquid cartridge to the liquid consuming apparatus by coming into contact the identification shape part when the type of the liquid cartridge to be attached does not coincide, otherwise enables the attachment of the liquid cartridge to the liquid consuming apparatus on the outer wall of the liquid cartridge 100 by thermal processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
