<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that allows a focal position to be adjusted without the need of a separate mechanism in a head-mounted type display device. <P>SOLUTION: A head-mounted type display device comprises: an image processor for adjusting right eye image data corresponding to the right eye of an observer and left eye image data corresponding to his or her left eye; a right eye display element for generating image light from the right eye image data; a left eye display element for generating image light from the left eye image data; and a light guiding section for forming a virtual image from the image light having been generated. The image processor acquires adjustment information for causing a target image to be displayed in a target image display region that is a smaller region than display regions with respect to the display regions of the right eye display element and the left eye display element, by using the adjustment information, adjusts an arrangement position of the target image display region in a right eye region that is a display region in the right eye display element with respect to the right eye image data and further adjusts an arrangement position of the target image display region in a left eye region that is a display region in the left eye display element with respect to the left eye image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
