PURPOSE: A solar battery and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize a thickness of a photo-electric layer, thereby improving conversion efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode layer(120) is formed on a substrate(110). A first photo-electric layer(130) including a first intrinsic semiconductor layer is formed on the transparent electrode layer. A second photo-electric layer having a second intrinsic semiconductor layer is formed on the first photo-electric layer. A third photo-electric layer(150) is formed on the second photo-electric layer. An in-between reflection layer(200) is formed in between the first and second photo-electric layers.
