<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter capable of preventing expansion of a power harmonic wave caused by motor voltage distortion. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter includes a control section (5) for controlling switching operations of switching elements (Su, Sv, Sw, Sx, Sy, Sz).
