摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film solar cell and a manufacturing method of the same, which broaden an effective area of a transparent electrode layer and increase an output of the thin film solar cell by suppressing increase in wiring resistance with maintaining insulation quality at a second through hole, thereby enabling lowering of a fraction defective in manufacturing of the thin film solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: In a thin film solar cell 1 of the present invention, a back side electrode layer 3a, a photoelectric conversion layer 4 and a transparent electrode layer 5 are laminated in this order on one surface 2a of an insulating substrate 2, and a first back plate electrode layer 3b and a second back plate electrode layer 6 are laminated in this order on another surface 2b of the insulating substrate 2. The transparent electrode layer 5 and the second back plate electrode layer 6 are electrically connected via a first through hole 7 penetrating the insulating substrate 2. The back side electrode layer 3a and the first back plate electrode layer 3b are electrically connected via a second through hole 8 penetrating the insulating substrate 2. Further, the transparent electrode layer 5 around the second through hole 8 is removed and the transparent electrode layer 5 and the second back plate electrode layer 6 are electrically isolated at the second through hole 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
