A method for producing an aminoalkyl thiosulfate compound with excellent purity, which is characterized by comprising: a first step wherein a compound having a specific structure and an alkali metal salt of thiosulfate are caused to react with each other in the presence of water; and a second step wherein a reaction mixture that is obtained in the first step and contains an aminoalkyl thiosulfate compound is desalted by electrodialysis.
