<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent local burning while saving power consumption, and to finish cooking delicious rice in an electric rice cooker using an inner pot composed of an earthen pot. <P>SOLUTION: The electric rice cooker includes: the inner pot composed of the earthen pot; a rice cooker body for removably storing the inner pot; a lid for openably and closably covering an upper opening of the rice cooker body; a rice cooking/heating means for heating the inner pot; a center sensor for detecting the temperature at the bottom of the inner pot; and a lid sensor which is provided in the lid body, and detects the temperature of steam. The electric rice cooker includes: a rice cooking finishing means for repeating ON heating in which electricity is distributed to the rice cooking/heating means after detection of boiling, and reserved heat heating in which electricity is not distributed to the rice cooking/heating unit. The rice cooking finishing means sets the lower limit temperature at which the rice cooking/heating unit is turned ON, and the upper limit temperature at which the rice cooking/heating unit is turned OFF so that OFF time at which electricity is not distributed to the rice cooking/heating unit is longer than ON time at which the electricity is distributed to the rice cooking/heating unit, thus, can prevent local burning while saving power consumption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
