<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reproduce a past musical performance state by easily recording musical performance operation information. <P>SOLUTION: This musical performance recording system detects musical performance input time (B) when musical performance information Di based upon operation of a musical performance operator 2a is input (A) in recording mode, and automatically records a series of musical performance information Di=Df in a storage means 14 (C) together with time information Tm=Fd indicating the detection time. In reproduction mode, when time is specified (D), musical performance information Df=Do corresponding to the specified time is retrieved (E) from the storage means 14 and the corresponding musical performance information is reproduced (F) according to the specification of the time.
