<p>The invention relates to an assembly for draining liquid from a receptacle (22 figure 1). The assembly comprises an impermeable seal (25 figure 2) for closing an aperture in the receptacle, a first connector means 35 fixed relative to the receptacle, an opening means 52 for opening the seal, and a second connector means 32 for connecting to the first connector means. When the second connector means is operated to connect to the first connector means, the opening means ruptures the seal. The first and second connector means preferably have corresponding threads. A later embodiment relates to a receptacle for bathing an end portion of a limb, where the liquid may have a therapeutic effect.</p> |
