<p>A valve device (1, 101) for electrically regulating a pressure in a hydraulic fluid flow (q) through the valve device in response to an actuating force (F) during a normal operation and mechanically regulating said pressure during a fail-safe operation when no actuating force is present, said valve device comprising a valve chamber; a first valve member being movable within said valve chamber in an axial direction to interact with a first valve seat in response to said actuating force (F) in order to restrict said hydraulic fluid flow (q) into said valve chamber during normal operation, said first valve member being spring-loaded away from said second seat in a direction opposite that of the actuating force (F) such that the first valve member is movable in said axial direction; a second valve member forming a movable chamber wall portion defining a part of said valve chamber, said second valve member being spring-loaded in the direction of the actuating force, said second valve member having a through hole for allowing said hydraulic fluid flow out of the valve chamber during normal operation, wherein said spring-loaded first valve member is arranged to close said flow passage during said fail-safe operation such that said pressure is mechanically regulated by said second valve member acting on said second valve seat.</p> |
