Class 7(6) [Also in Group XXIV] In fuel injection engines having three banks of cylinders, the engine power control lever is connected to a lever 98 on the fuel pump 96 of one cylinder bank. The lever 98 is also connected through dog clutches 99, 100 to the control levers 101, 102 of the fuel pumps for the other two cylinder banks. The control lever of a two-speed gear is connected to a dogclutch disengaging lever 103 to release the clutches 99, 100 when the low-ratio is engaged, and thus cut-off the fuel supply to the two cylinder banks for low-ratio running. |
