A power unit of a military-caterpillar vehicle that is placed in an armored body comprises a motor with one-side power takeoff and power transmission that includes a gear train (reducer) that serves for transfer of torque from the motor to two gear boxes that are structurally combined with board transmissions, to high pressure compressor and to starter-generator, to centrifugal ventilator placed in case that serves for formation of air flow through radiators, systems for cooling and heating the motor where cooled liquid that goes out from the motor is divided into parallel flows that go through radiators, coils in tanks, vapor delivery tubes, instead of a motor with one-side power takeoff a basic diesel with increased power and smaller overall dimensions is installed there, with two-side power takeoff directly to gear boxes that are structurally combined with board reducers. The engine includes a drive of centrifugal ventilator, high pressure compressor, starter-generator and drives of those, this has made it possible to cancel the gear train (reducer). |
