PURPOSE: A robot program detection error preventing method in an online game service is provided to prevent a robot program detection error by properly dealing with a case that a response from a game client is not normally made. CONSTITUTION: A game server transmits a command for detecting a robot program to a game client which a specific user character connects to(S211). If a response to the command is not received from the game client within a fixed time after the command is transmitted, the specific user character is determined as a character handled with the robot program(S212-1,S212-2). If a packet is received from the game client, the received packet is investigated for being related to the response to the command(S213-1, S213-2). |
