A boring head consists of a body, where are made: a shank with a thread to secure the boring head in an arrangement and a central opening for supply of cooling lubricant (coolant), elastic guides installed in longitudinal grooves. In the housing four additional radial grooves are made and irregularly placed in a circle, in which three cutters are mounted for finishing and one cutter for roughing treatment, which are fixed by means of a disk rigidly connected to the housing. Adjustment of radial outreach of the cutters is made by special screws with conical end surfaces, which are installed to mate with the end bevels of cutters, and on each cutter longitudinal grooves are made for supply of coolant to the cutting area, and major angles in the plan on the cutters for finishing and auxiliary angles in the plan on the first and second cutters for finishing are the same and are equal toandrespectively. Auxiliary angle in the plan of the third cutter for finishing is adjusted, and its value is determined by a formula. |
