PURPOSE: A method for supplying a content list, a digital media server performing the same, and a digital media player are provided to in a DLNA(Digital Living Network Alliance) based home network system are provided to supply a content list which is restricted in a digital media server of a DLNA based home network system. CONSTITUTION: An authentication processing unit(101) performs an authentication process with a digital media player. A content list generating unit(103) generates a restricted content list if it fails to authenticate a device for the digital media player. The restricted content list includes reproducible contents in the digital media player. The content list generating unit transmits the restricted content list to the digital media player.
