PURPOSE: A vehicle recognition apparatus using an RFD(Radio Frequency Identification) tag attached to vehicles and parking management method using the same are provided to easily determine parking permitted vehicles by recognizing the RFID tag. CONSTITUTION: A sensor(210) recognizes the access of vehicles. An RFID reader(220) is activated and reads information stored in an RFID tag from the vehicles. A memory unit(230) stores parking enable information corresponding to the information stored in the RFID tag. When the sensor recognizes the access of the vehicles, a control unit(260) determines the permitted vehicles by comparing the information stored in the RFID tag and the information stored in the memory unit. The control unit displays a comparison result on a display unit by connecting to the display unit. |
