PURPOSE: A variable lifting apparatus for railway vehicles is provided to stop railway vehicles in all the low level platform and high level platform by varying to a stair platform and a flat platform. CONSTITUTION: A variable lifting apparatus for railway vehicles comprises a first stair part(100), a second stair part(200), and a third stair part(300). The first stair part becomes the lowest step of a boarding stair. The second stair part becomes the middle step while being stepped from the first stair part and is formed into a shape of a cuboid capable of moving back and forth and controlling the height of the top surface. The third stair part becomes the uppermost step while being stepped from the second stair part and has an accommodating groove for accommodating the rear side of the second stair part.
