PURPOSE: A signal transmission system of WDN PON and a method thereof are provided to prevent transmission errors due to wavelength inconsistencies of a light source. CONSTITUTION: An RSOA(Reflective Semiconductor Optical Amplifier)(105) receives an optical signal which is generated from a light source through an AWG(Arrayed Waveguide Grating)(104). The RSOA amplifies the received optical signal. The RSOA reflects the amplified optical signal to the AWG. The AWG is provided in a central base station. The AWG divides wavelength of the optical signal which is reflected from the RSOA. The AWG inserts the divided wavelength into the light source.
