The profile (7) has a body (9) comprising assembly structures (10) that are allowed to cooperate with complementary assembly structures i.e. slot (11), of a set of structural parts or profile structures. A core (12) is provided with a cellular thermoplastic polymer whose outer surface is covered by a skin consisting of a non-cellular thermoplastic polymer. The body and one of the former assembly structures are formed of the core covered by the skin. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a joinery (2) a method for manufacturing a thermal break profile.
