<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device which is capable of promptly correcting an input character through a simple operation which reduces a burden on a user. <P>SOLUTION: An input device 10 includes an input unit 11, a display unit 12, an input mode discrimination unit 13 which discriminates whether input is a first input mode or a second input mode, and an input control unit 16. If input to a predetermined key is discriminated as the first input mode, the input control unit 16 controls to display a plurality of characters allocated to the key while successively shifting them as an input character candidate in response to the input. If discriminated as the second input mode, the input control unit 16 searches input character strings for a character corresponding to the character allocated to the key as a correction character candidate and controls movement of a cursor displayed on the display unit 12 in response to input for the searched correction character candidate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
