The valve (1) has a valve member arrangement (4) comprising two valve elements (24, 25) that are arranged relative to each other around a pivot axis (26) to form a scissor-like valve member structure. Magnetically conductive operating arms (24a, 25a) of a valve member arm (27) project in front of pole faces (11a, 11b) of an electromagnetic device (5) such that a magnetic field is formed between the pole faces. The operating arms are dragged against the pole faces, and the control arms (24b, 25b) are simultaneously pivoted into controllable conduit openings (18a, 18b) in a closed position.
