A similar case retrieval device (1) is provided with: a keyword extraction unit (3) which extracts a keyword from a radiogram interpretation report; a diagnosis tree analysis unit (41) which refers to a diagnosis tree storage unit (8) storing diagnosis trees and extracts a diagnosis flow of interest corresponding to the radiogram interpretation report on the basis of the keyword; a similar diagnosis flow extraction unit (42) which extracts a similar diagnosis flow similar to the diagnosis flow of interest from a plurality of diagnosis flows contained in the diagnosis trees stored in the diagnosis tree storage unit (8), on the basis of the degree of difficulty of diagnosis items or the degree of difficulty of disease names; and a similar case retrieval unit (5) which retrieves case data corresponding to the similar diagnosis flow from a plurality of pieces of case data stored in a case data storage unit (9).
