<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accommodated article taking out device capable of more freely setting a price than conventional taking out devices. <P>SOLUTION: An accommodated article taking out device includes: a coin retention unit 60 capable of retaining a predetermined number of a first type of coins and a predetermined number of a second type of coins whose diameter is larger than that of the first type of coins; and a coin detection device 70 for detecting whether the coin retention unit 60 retains the predetermined numbers of the first type of coins and the second type of coins in accordance with initial operation by an operation unit 40. When detecting that the coin retention unit 60 does not retain the predetermined numbers of one or both of the first type of coins and the second type of coins, the coin detection device 70 blocks operation after the initial operation by the operation unit 40. When detecting that the coin retention unit 60 retains the predetermined numbers of both types of coins, the coin detection device 70 permits operation after the initial operation.
