Detergent, comprises: 0.5-2 wt.% of one or more enzymes comprising proteases, lipases or amylases; 0.1-2 wt.% of borax; 0.5-3 wt.% of a phosphoric acid ester; 10-30 wt.% of a complexing agent; 10-30 wt.% of a solubilizer; 2-10 wt.% of nonionic surfactants; 10-30 wt.% of propylene glycol; and the balance water. An independent claim is included for a method for the machine cleaning of dishes, comprising dispensing a neutral cleaning agent into the main cleaner tank of the dish washing dispenser, and flushing the obtained solution on the dishes, where the process is carried out with no prepurifying step with a separate cleaning agent.
