<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which can achieve proper image conversion that requires pixel interpolation such as image magnification or projective transformation at low cost by preventing edges of an image after image conversion from becoming thick or indistinct due to an influence of interpolation. <P>SOLUTION: A chain code unit 4 stores relations between respective edge pixels in an edge image before image conversion. Based on the stored relations of edge pixels, an image conversion unit 5 performs image conversion such as image magnification or projective transformation by recognizing relations between respective edge pixels after conversion which became discontinuous due to image conversion such as magnification or projective transformation and by filling up, with interpolation pixels, each discontinuous spaces between edge pixels after conversion and corresponding edge pixels that used to be next to the edge pixels to keep original line width. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
