The objective of the present invention is, in a flow-based network such as the OpenFlow network system, even in a case of passage through a network appliance which performs conversion upon packet headers for NAT or NAPT therein, to be able to understand correspondence relationships between two flows before and after the passage, and to be able to track the flows end-to-end. Specifically, at a switch (or at a controller which has received a request from the switch), packets are encapsulated. At the time, encapsulation is performed using headers which are identical to the current header, and therefore, two types of headers, which are for pre-conversion and post-conversion, are attached to the packets after passage through the network appliance. |
