<p>[Problem] To monitor an amount of energy consumed by each load, without attaching a device to each load which consumes energy. [Solution] A measuring device (1) for measuring an amount of energy consumed by a load, and a monitoring device (3) for collecting information regarding the measured amount of consumed energy are configured to be communicable. The monitoring device (3) is provided with: a load specific information storage unit (301) which stores information comprising a general amount of energy consumed by a load and the usage time period, with respect to each type of load; and a recommended consumption amount information storage unit (302) which stores a recommended amount of energy to be consumed, with respect to each type of load. Upon receiving consumption amount information from the measuring device (1), the monitoring device (3) refers to the load specific information storage unit (301) by a load specification unit (308) and specifies the type of load that has been used, and then, with reference to the recommended consumption amount information storage unit (302) by a determination processing unit (309), determines whether or not the amount of energy consumed by the load is within the recommended consumption amount. As a result, if the amount of energy consumed by the load exceeds the range of the recommended consumption amount, the monitoring device (3) instructs the measuring device (1) to emit an alarm signal.</p> |
