The method involves applying washing liquid over a wiping blade with a co-moving outlet on a pane (12) during wiping movement. Time durations (20, 30, 32) of applying the liquid on the pane are changed based on a parameter (16). The parameter is detected as temperature (T-A). The liquid is applied over a long time on the pane when the temperature is fallen below a threshold level. Winter and summer washing programs are selected by actuation of a control element on two different types, respectively, where the liquid is applied over a long time on the pane in the winter washing program. An independent claim is also included for a pane wiping plant for a vehicle.
