<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic tensioner preventing flapping abnormal sound of a running chain by solving the lowering of oil damping force due to the influence of air by rapidly and smoothly degassing the air mixed into a high pressure oil chamber from a plumber accommodating hole to the outside of a housing. <P>SOLUTION: A degassing mechanism 160 degassing the air mixed in the high pressure oil chamber R to the outside of the housing 110 has a helical orifice 163 formed in a gap between a driving in side flank part of a screw hole 113 arranged in the housing 110 and communicating with the plunger accommodating hole 112 and a driving in side flank part of a degassing adjusting screw hole 162 screwed with the screw hole 113 of the housing 110 via a degassing adjusting washer 161, and a degassing guide groove 164 arranged in a washer abutting position 114 of the housing 110, communicating with the helical orifice 163, and degassing to the outside of the housing 110, in the hydraulic tensioner 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
