<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a large braking force to an output shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle power transmission apparatus includes: a first brake device 61 provided between a casing 22 and a first speed change shaft 40 connected to an output shaft 54 via an output gear 48 and a low-speed side input gear 57; and a second brake device 71 provided between the casing 22 and a second speed change shaft 41 connected to the an output shaft 54 via an output gear 52 and a high-speed side input gear 58. When a rotary shaft 35 and the first speed change shaft 40 are connected by a first-gear clutch mechanism 50 or a second-gear clutch mechanism 51, a braking force can be applied to the first speed change shaft 40 connected to the rotary shaft 35 and the second speed change shaft 41 not connected to the rotary shaft 35 simultaneously, using the first brake device 61 and the second brake device 71, respectively, thereby applying a large braking force to the output shaft 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
