<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit for an electrostatic capacitance load and a drive circuit for ink jet head reducing a peak voltage when discharging the electrostatic capacitance load to increase a drive voltage to the highest possible value. <P>SOLUTION: When discharging an electric charge charged in the electrostatic capacitance load in a direction returning to a DC power source, the impedance of at least one of respective switches that are brought into on-states for the discharge thereof is gradually decreased when an output voltage of the DC power source is high and rapidly decreased when it is low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
